Paper plate fish are an old craft staple, but what about a turning that boring old fish into someone we all love: Dory!
You will need
- 2 x paper plates
- blue and yellow paint
- black marker pen
- 1 x googly craft eye
From one plate, cut a wedge section as Dory’s mouth. Now use a pencil to mark up Dory’s black markings (see video) on her body.
Now get the other plate and cut a fin and a tail out of it, using the fluted plate section as the tips of the fin and tail.
Colour Dory’s body blue and the tips of her tail and fin, yellow.
Glue on the tail section and the fin. Add the googly craft eye (or just draw one on if you don’t have a craft eye) and Dory is ready to swim.
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming …
